Talking about real life situations is the best way to practise English. Try applying your new numbers knowledge to real-life topics that might creep up in conversation.

- Download, print out and cut up the flashcards.
- Shuffle the cards well, then place them in a pile facing upwards.
- Research this topic for your country, city or town and be sure to find some related statistics.
- Write down some example sentences with these statistics and then read them out loud to yourself to practise.
- For example, in the UK for the card economy, I might say the economy is getting better now compared to the economy of the nineteen seventies (1970’s). There are more jobs, but there is a lot of political uncertainty.
- Repeat this activity until all cards have been used.
