A1.1 Academy Courses
A1.1 is a beginner level that already has a basic knowledge of the English language, being able to introduce yourself, talk about family and friends and know colours, days and months. Our A1.1 course expands on this basic English and focuses on building vocabulary, introducing the basic present tenses and tuning in to listening, reading and writing skills in English. This A1.1 course is perfect for people who studied English at school and haven’t studied since or are just starting their English learning journey.
By the end of our A1.1 academy courses, you should be able to hold a good conversation in English, ask and answer questions in English and use phrases about personal details as well as familiar everyday expressions.
Our A1.1 course is for 5 people minimum and 12 people maximum. Virtually Fluent Academy has the right to cancel the course if there are not enough participants enrolled. In this case, a full refund will be given.

Support your academy course learning with a conversation course. These courses are 1 hour a week and focus only on speaking, pronunciation and communication. In our conversation courses, our teachers select one topic a week. We provide a vocabulary and phrase list prior to each lesson as well as interesting articles and videos connected to the topic that you can research prior to the lesson. With up to 12 people in the class you will get plenty of time to practise your speaking.
